School management and the place of information communication technology: prospects and challenges in Nigeria

Abstract

This paper presents the place of Information and Communication Technology on School Management. Management as it relates to the school setting is captured. e-leadership which means governing or managing through the use of electronic devices was espoused here helping the principals to learn how to keep records on management issues, teachers and students. Learning research in the world wide web and other areas of computer appreciation that can enhance education management was also ventilated upon. The paper was concluded by highlighting on some challenges and what government could do to reduce the challenges.
