Abstract

L’angiographie coronaire est une modalité thérapeutique très peu répandue en Afrique subsaharienne malgré la prévalence croissante des coronaropathies. L’état camerounais a équipé 02 hopitaux publiques de deux salles d’angiographie modernes. Nous vous rapportons les résultats de la première mission de coronarographie qui s’est déroulée à l’Hôpital Général de Douala du 19 au 25 juin 2021.

Coronary angiography is a procedure that is not widely used in sub-Saharan Africa despite the increasing prevalence of coronary artery disease. The Cameroonian government has equipped two public hospitals with two modern angiography facilities. We report the results of the first coronary angiography mission which took place at the Douala General Hospital from 19 to 25 June 2021.
