Choque de civilizações: Confronto Tradição vs Modernidade em <i>Amar sobre um leito de preconceito</i>, de Isabel Ferrão

Abstract

Esta investigação buscou compreender o confronto entre a tradição e a modernidade em Amar sobre um leito de preconceito, de Isabel Ferrão. A questão que orientou o trabalho consistiu em saber em que medida as diferenças culturais constituem fator de conflito entre os povos. Assim, a técnica de recolha de dados foi a pesquisa bibliográfica. O tratamento dos dados foi feito na base da análise de conteúdo e de discurso, o que revela que a literatura desempenha um papel muito importante, não só do ponto de vista artístico, mas também do ponto de vista cultural. Podemos olhar para ela como um “meio” que nos permite conhecer o mundo. A literatura é também o mote para a construção e a confirmação da história de um povo ou uma nação, pois é a partir desta que se podem narrar fatos inerentes ao percurso dos povos através de mitos, lendas, contos, desde a sua origem até os dias de hoje, contribuindo, assim, para uma autenticidade ou mesmo para uma identidade nacional.

English Abstract: This investigation aimed to understand the confrontation between tradition and modernity in Loving on a bed of preconception, by Isabel Ferrão. The subject that guided the work consisted of knowing in what measured the cultural differences constitute conflict factor between peoples. So, the technique of data collection was the bibliographical research. The treatment of the data was made in the base of the content analysis and of speech, which reveals that the literature plays a very important part, not only of the artistic point of view, but also of the cultural point of view. We can look at it as a “means” that allows us to know the world. The literature is also the motto for the construction and confirmation of the history of a people or a nation, because it is starting from this that one can narrate inherent facts to the course of the people through myths, legends, stories, and other, from its origin to the present days, contributing, so, for an authenticity or even for a national identity.
