An electricity billing model
SO Adetona
RI Salawu
Abstract
Linear regression analysis has been employed to develop a model for predicting accurately the electricity billing for commercial consumers in Ogun State (Nigeria) at faster rate. The electricity billing model was implement-ed, executed and tested using embedded MATLAB function blocks. The correlations between the actual meter readings and predicted values were excellent; hence the model could be adopted for use on large scale by other utility boards.
