Managing innovative education in public universities for attainment of sustainable development goals in Nigeria

Abstract

The goals of university establishment in any nation are geared toward socio-economic development among others. Innovation and  innovative ideas are essential technical tools universities rely, adopt and operate to meet the needs of their clients, corporate bodies,  societal challenges among others. This paper explored management of innovative education toward achieving sustainable development  goals come 2030 in Nigeria. To address this issue, the paper contained introduction, sustainable development, sustainable development  goals and the philosophy, innovation and innovative education, types and examples of innovation, innovative education, technology  innovation for education, ways educators can make classroom, more innovative, management of university education for sustainable  development, community service engagement for sustainable development and attainment strategies, challenges to innovation in higher  education, conclusion and suggestions, and references.
