Sources of Support
The journal charges a publication fee of 25,000 naira, or 54USD. Copies of the journal cost 2,000 naira, or 4.32USD.
The journal is supported by donations, the sale of hardcopies, and publication fees.
Peer Review
The peer review process starts with preliminary review. When the paper is submitted, the editor checks the manuscript to ensure it fits the journal’s focus and then prepares it to be sent to peer reviewers.
Peer review is based on double-blind system where the authors’ and reviewers’ names, affiliations and contacts are not made open. Three copies of the submitted manuscript are printed and sent to three experts: two members of editorial board (including the editor) and one external reviewer. The review process takes up two weeks.
Decision to accept or reject the paper is based on the comments and suggestions from the reviewers. If there are variations in their opinions, the editor will analyze the comment and based on all the considerations make the final decision. A second round of peer review may be taken if necessary.
The result of the review is communicated to the corresponding author. It is at this point that the details for publication fees and payment details are released to authors if the paper is accepted.
One hard copy is posted to the corresponding author free of charge while extra copies are paid for. After two weeks of publication, the soft copy is uploaded in the journal’s website: www.ajerduniport.com.

This journal is not open access.

This journal publishes two issues and one conference issue per year.
