African Journal of Clinical and Experimental Microbiology is published quarterly. It includes original research papers covering all aspects of Medical Microbiology – Bacteriology, Virology, Rickettsiology, Chlamydiology, Mycology, Mycobacteriology, and Actinomycetales, Parasitology, Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases, Immunology in Clinical Practice, General Clinical Microbiology, and Clinical Veterinary Microbiology.

As of 2010 the African Journal of Clinical and Experimental Microbiology is published online as open access. Subscription is however, still open to individuals, libraries, University Departments, Research Institutes and other Multi-reader institutions who may still want to have hard copies of our
Journal. For each volume (3issues) subscription rate is ₤300 (United Kingdom), US $600 (USA/Canada), US $450 (African Counties), US$600 (Other Countries), N21, 000 (Nigeria).
Additional charges will be made for postage and packaging. A copyright for these is with African Journal of Clinical and Experimental Microbiology.
