Peer review
ZJST maintains a double blind peer review process. Upon receipt, the manuscript is sent to a minimum of 3 reviewers who are specialists in the field of study. Members of the Editorial Board are tasked to identify the reviewers and in some instances, reviewers are drawn from those who have done the task before. Two positive reviews are required for the acceptance of the manuscript. The author is then asked to correct the manuscript guided by comments from the two positive reports. Two negative reports results in a rejection of the manuscript. Papers can be rejected on a desk review if there is sufficient evidence to prove they are plagiarised or generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
