An overview of stock price forecasting

Abstract

This paper aimed among other things to examine determinants of stock price movement or variations as well to x-ray different approaches to forecasting stock price. The dynamic relationships between the stock price movement and the macroeconomic variables were reviewed. This problem of predicting direction of movement of stock and stock price index was addressed.
