Zionism and the problem of world peace

Abstract

Zionism is an ideology or better still, a movement which aims at returning the Jews to their homeland. Literally, Zion refers to the city of Jerusalem in Palestine. The formal establishment of the Zionist state of Israel has been met with strong opposition that has continued till date. The aim of the paper is to analyze the Zionist movement and show how it has led to conflict in the Middle East that is presently threatening the whole world.
