The Nigerian historian and Nigeria's transformation: The challenge of change.
Abstract
This paper seeks to recommend a balance between Western emphasis on change
and an equally valid African concept of continuity. It calls on the present generation
of historians to rise above neutrality and orthodoxy and make meaningful
contribution to Nigeria's transformation.
