Abstract

Genl Du Toit shares the recollections of his military career with the readers of Militaria in an article to be published in four parts. The first part deals with his training prior to World War II and proceeds through South Africa's declaration of war, the East African campaign, the invasion of Cyrenaica and the Battle of Sidi Rezegh.
