Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (Letterer-Siwe disease ) - Report of a case
Abstract
Langerhans cell histiocytosis is a rare disorder that occurs when there are
too many of type of white blood cell called a Langerhans cell. We describe a
3-months infant girl who developed wide spread skin lesions since she was 4
days of age. . The diagnosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis was confirmed by
histopathology. We report this case as a first Langerhans cell histocytosis to be reported in an infant.
