Las tendencias de consumo cultural en espacios digitales de los estudiantes de la universidad intercultural del estado de tabasco
Abstract
This article aims to identify the practices of cultural consumption in digital spaces of young people from the Universidad Intercultural del Estado de Tabasco (UIET), through a descriptive and bivariate study in which seven careers are compared. Among the main findings is the fact that students do not distinguish their consumption by rural and urban condition related to their sociodemographic origin. On the other hand, a difference in consumption is observed when the career is identified as the main unit of analysis. However, this is the case with of streaming consumption, but not in the case of content related to YouTube, in which there is a certain break with the cultural offer produced by the cultural industries.
