Abstract
In the article entitled 'Medical, legal and administrative aspects of cadaveric organ donation in the RSA' by Cooper er aL., which apeared in the SAMJ of 11 December 1982, the first sentence of the second-last paragraph in the left-hand column on p. 935 should have read: 'No further investigative procedure is necessary to make a confident diagnosis of brain death; in particular, an EEG is not an essential· prerequisite.'
