Abstract

Scientific and Technical Information (STI) is viewed as a product which falls under market economic laws. Hence, its evolution is to be considered in the light of economic parameters. Due to its own specific characteristics, Scientific and Technical Information can be difficult to be seized from an economic analytical stand point.

Most thesis dealing with STI from an economic view are contradictory since the consequence of its evolution upon the ofre and demand of STI.
