Influence de la motivation au travail des agents sur la performance du centre de santé de référence de la commune III du district de Bamako
Abstract
The demotivation of agents at work negatively affects the functioning of health structures. The resolution of this problem requires in-depth investigations to identify the real causes and propose adequate solutions. This study aims to analyse the factors of demotivation at work of the staff of the CSRéf of Commune III of the district of Bamako and the impact of their motivation on the performance of the structure. We carried out a qualitative study with 23 agents through semi-directive interviews, a documentary review and a content analysis according to Miles and Huberman (2003). The study's results made it possible to identify demotivation factors at the organization of services such as the inadequacy and insufficiency of consultation and hospitalization rooms, the irregularity of continuing training, low salaries and the career management of community agents.
On the other hand, certain factors such as schedules and workload, internal communication, the choice of training participants and the adequacy of themes, the management of discounts and the career of government employees contribute to good motivation of employees. Concerning hierarchical superiors' management style, most employees were satisfied with decision-making, social relations and conflict management. According to employees, motivation at work has a positive impact on the performance of the CSRéf. Therefore, adopting an exemplary motivation system for employees inspired by this study is essential for the CSRéf.
