As an integral part of the submission process, authors must ensure that their submission complies with all of the following elements, and submissions may be returned to authors who do not comply with these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal. If not, provide an explanation in the "Comments to Editor" field.
  • The submission file is in one of the following file formats: OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect.
  • Where possible, URLs of references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced, uses 12-point font, uses italics rather than underlining (except for URLs), and places all illustrations, figures, and tables at the appropriate locations within the text rather than at the end.
  • The text complies with the stylistic and bibliographic requirements described in the  Guidelines for Authors  , which can be found in the “About the Journal” section.
  • I understand that the evaluation fee for my manuscript amounting to thirty thousand (30,000) CFA francs for each new submission in no way guarantees the publication of the article.
  • All authors whose names appear on the submission have made substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work; or to the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data; or to the creation of new software used in the work; drafted the work or revised it critically for important intellectual content; approved the version to be published; and agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

 

Author Guidelines

This journal uses double-blind review, which means that the identity of the reviewer and author is hidden from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.

To facilitate this, authors should ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not reveal their identity.

The evaluation fee is 30,000 FCFA ($60). This amount does not guarantee the publication of your article.

  1. Manuscript organization
    • Format

The file must be in Word format (.doc or .docx) and must not be protected.

  • Volume of text

The text volume must be between 15,000 and 35,000 characters including spaces.

  • Title

The title should be specific, descriptive, concise, and understandable to readers outside your field. It should be left-aligned with a 14 point bold font and Times New Roman. Only the first letter of the title should be capitalized.

  • Authors and Affiliations

Full names of authors should be indicated separated by a comma. Link to this authors' affiliation as follows: department, organization, city, country.

The corresponding author should be marked in Asterix with his exact address, email and telephone number in a separate paragraph. We recommend a maximum of five (5) authors per article.

  • Titles and subtitles

Titles and subtitles are allowed up to 3 levels, no more. Only the first letter must be capitalized.

  • Summary and keywords

The summary should:

  • Describe the context and objective of this study
  • Explain how the study was conducted
  • Summarize the results and their meanings
  • Must not exceed 250 words.

Please minimize the use of abbreviations in the abstract.

  • Main text

The body text must be in size 12 font, Times New Roman with a maximum line spacing of 1.15.

It must include

  • Introduction

It must present: a brief description of the state of the field of study, the problem, the importance and the justification for the study.

  • Materials and methods

This section should provide information on the methodology used to conduct the study including the materials used, a description of the tools used for the analysis.

Studies requiring ethical approvals should reproduce it here.

  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgement

In case there are any.

  • Conflicts of interest

All authors must declare that no conflict of interest is related to this article.

  • Bibliographical References

RASP uses APA (American Psychological Association, 6th Edition) as its citation style. You can find more information about this style at www.apastyle.org

  • Tables and figures

The formats (.png, .jpeg, .eps) are acceptable as images. Table numbers must be numbered and titles clear and precise.

 

RASP reserves the right to contact the authors of cited studies to confirm citations. The journal is strict on plagiarism issues.

  • Publication Charge

RASP articles are freely accessible under the Creative Commons Attribution License (  http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0  ). However, RASP requests a contribution of  30,000 FCFA per article submitted for publication. This contribution in no way guarantees the publication of the article.

  • Ethics

RASP attaches great importance to ethics in research. All documents received will be analyzed by anti-plagiarism software. The acceptable threshold is a maximum of 25% similarities.  The average publication time was 3 months in 2022.
