Fibrome nuchal : une tumeur rare du cou

Abstract

Le fibrome nuchal ou collagenosis nuchae est une entité rare des tumeurs  de la tête et du cou. C’est une tumeur bénigne des tissus mous qui nait du tissu sous cutané cervical postérieur d’étiologie inconnue. Une patiente de 47 ans est reçue pour une tuméfaction cervicale postérieure. La patiente a bénéficié d’une exérèse tumorale sous anesthésie locale. L’analyse de la pièce en anatomopathologie objectivait un fibrome nuchal. Le fibrome nuchal est une tumeur bénigne rare du tissu mou cervical postérieur. Cette lésion doit être discutée devant toute masse cervicale postérieure

Nuchal fibroma or collagenosis nuchae is a rare entity among head and neck tumors. It is a benign soft tissue tumor of unknown etiology, arising  from posterior cervical subcutaneous tissue. A 47- year-old patient is admitted for posterior cervical swelling. The patient underwent tumor  excision under local anesthesia. The histopathological examinations revealed a nuchal fibroma. Nuchal fibroma is a rare benign tumor of the posterior cervical soft tissue. This lesion must be evoqued in front of any posterior cervical mass.
