Corps étrangers rectaux introduits par l’anus: à propos de deux cas au CHU de Treichville

Abstract

Les corps étrangers rectaux introduits par l’anus sont rares dans notre pratique. Le but de ce travail était de rapporter notre expérience à partir de deux cas observés au cours de l’année 2014 afin de relever certains aspects de leur prise en charge. Les patients étaient de sexe masculin, âgés de 50 et 60 ans. Dans un cas, il s’agissait d’une agression à caractère punitif et dans l’autre d’un acte sexuel. Ils ont consulté avec un retard de 24 heures. La symptomatologie se limitait à une gêne et une proctalgie. Le corps étranger était accessible au toucher rectal dans les deux cas. L’extraction a été instrumentale dans un cas et manuelle dans l’autre sans complications. La prise en charge des corps étrangers introduits par l’anus peut être parfois simple avec des méthodes non chirurgicales qui doivent être connues et praticables dans toute structure hospitalière équipée d’un bloc opératoire.

English Abstract

Rectal foreign bodies inserted through the anus are uncommon in our practice. The purpose of the study was to report our two cases experience occurred during the year 2014 so to point out some aspects of care. Patients were male, 50 and 60 years old. In one case it was an assault in punitive purpose and the other a sexual act. They consulted 24 hours later. Symptoms were just uneasiness and proctalgia. Foreign body was accessible through  a digital rectal examination in both cases. Extraction was instrumental in a case and manual in the other without complications. Management of foreign bodies inserted through the anus can be simple with non-surgical methods that must be known and used in any hospital with a surgical suite.
