This comprehensive study evaluates the effects of monetary and fiscal policies and sustainability reporting on the financial performance of Ghana's listed commercial banks and how those effects influence the country's economy. The study used a contemporaneous, deductive, explanatory, and case study technique, utilising primary sources (questionnaires) and secondary sources (document analysis) in a cross-sectional inquiry. The data was statistically analysed using the SPSS software, utilising thematic, descriptive, and inferential statistical analyses. Using the correlation matrix to analyse inferential statistics data shows that government spending, taxes, inflation rate, and ROA and ROE have a statistically significant positive correlation with earnings quality. The findings of this research are also expected to contribute to the existing literature on sustainability reporting, firm performance, and brand management.

The study further suggests that Central Banks should provide clear and transparent forward guidance regarding their future interest rate decisions. Commercial banks can better anticipate rate movements and adjust their strategies, reducing uncertainty and potential negative impacts. Management operational efficiency statistically and adversely correlates with ROA and ROE at a 95% confidence. On the other hand, GDP growth and liquidity measurements had a statistically negligible negative correlation with ROA and ROE. A positive and strong correlation exists between the adjusted R square of fiscal policy instruments and the internal control factors of 42.1%, 38.3%, 87.0%, and 68.1%, respectively
2025-04-14T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://www.ajol.info/index.php/pmsj/article/view/293382 Measuring the Performance of David Ackah as the Construction Project Management Training Consultant Organized by the Institute of Project Management Professionals Ghana 2025-04-14T13:13:12+00:00 David Ackah drackah@ipmp.edu.gh
The effectiveness of training consultants plays a crucial role in enhancing professional development in the construction industry, where project management skills are essential for successful project execution. This study evaluates the performance of Prof. David Ackah as a training consultant in construction project management training programs organised by the Institute of Project Management Professionals (IPMP) Ghana. Using a mixed-methods research approach, the study employed daily performance assessments, participant feedback surveys, interviews, and document analysis to measure key aspects of training delivery, including content organisation, engagement, methodology, and overall effectiveness. The findings indicate that Prof. Ackah’s training sessions were well-received, with high ratings for clarity of explanations, depth of technical knowledge, participant engagement, and professionalism. However, areas for improvement were identified, including enhancing interactive learning methods, optimising time management, and increasing the accessibility of training materials. The study underscores the importance of developing a structured framework for evaluating training consultants to ensure continuous improvement in training quality. This research contributes to the broader discourse on effective professional training in Ghana’s construction sector by providing a replicable model for assessing consultant performance. The recommendations emphasise the need for more practical learning approaches, better time management, and the integration of advanced visual learning tools to further enhance the impact of construction project management training.
2025-04-14T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://www.ajol.info/index.php/pmsj/article/view/293386 Assessing the Impact of Rewards on Employee Performance 2025-04-14T13:18:25+00:00 Shirley Akorfa Batse shirleyakorfabatse@gmail.com
The study sought to assess the effects of organizational support on the employee performance of Takoradi Technical University in Takoradi, Ghana.
