Articles intended for Òye: Ogun Journal of Arts may be on any subject
in the humanities and may be written in any of the official languages
of English, French, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, or any other indigenous
Nigerian languages. Each article should be word-processed, doublespaced,
and should not exceed fifteen (15) pages in length (plus
references) in the following style: a first reference to a book or any
essay should be by author’s surname and year of publication, and the
page quoted indicated at the end of the quotation itself; while all
sources are listed in alphabetical order, by surname, followed by year
of publication, at the end of the article, under the title “References”.
The first page of the article after the cover page, which has author’s
name and contact address, must bear the title alone of the article
without author’s name and address. Articles which exceed fifteen
pages, are not word-processed, and are in a style different from the
one described above will not be considered for publication.

A soft copy, preferably on flash drive, and a hard copy of an
article which conforms with the above guidelines should be
submitted to: Editor, Òye: Ogun Journal of Arts, Faculty of Arts,
Olabisi Onabanjo University, P.M.B. 2002, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State,
