Peer Review
Manuscripts submitted to Open Veterinary Journal are reviewed in a single-blind manner: that is, the author(s) of the paper is known to the reviewer, who remains anonymous. The review process takes an average 8-12 weeks. All manuscripts are reviewed by the editor and members of the Editorial Board or by qualified outside reviewers. Decisions will generally be made as rapidly as possible, and the journal strives to return reviewers’ comments to authors as soon as possible. The editorial board will re-review the manuscripts that are accepted pending revisions. If accepted then will be published online immediately also will be printed among other accepted articles in the next issue of the journal. The decision to accept or reject a paper for publication in the Journal rests fully with the Editorial Board. Focus and Scope
Open Veterinary Journal is a peer reviewed international open access online and printed journal that publishes high-quality original research articles, reviews, short communications and case reports dedicated to all aspects of veterinary sciences and its related subjects.
