<p>Vascularized tumors are central to cancer research, significantly impacting tumor development and medication delivery dynamics. The attainment of precise depictions of these occurrences is essential in developing productive treatment approaches. Current methodologies often need to be revised to replicate authentic tumor microenvironments accurately. The research proposed the Vascularized Tumor Spheroid-on-a-Chip Model (VTSoCM) to tackle these issues. This novel model combines multi-scale modeling and microfluidic technologies to provide a more precise and dynamic representation of vascularized tumors. The VTSoCM exhibits significant progress compared to current methodologies. The microvessel density is notably elevated at a value of 30.12 vessels per square millimeter, suggesting a heightened capacity for angiogenesis. The Drug Penetration Depth has been measured to be 0.78 mm, enabling more accurate drug delivery evaluations. The growth rate of tumor spheroids increases to 4.25 mm³ each day, indicating a more realistic tumor advancement. The migration distance of immune cells has been seen to extend up to 230 μm, facilitating a more comprehensive comprehension of immunological responses. The permeability of the vascular network demonstrates a rise to a value of 0.038 cm/s, providing valuable insights into the process of tumor angiogenesis. The results highlight the capacity of VTSoCM to transform the cancer research field and advance treatment approaches significantly. <p>Cervical cancer remains a prominent global health issue, requiring novel strategies to comprehend its molecular underpinnings and devise efficacious therapeutic interventions. This research utilizes network pharmacology to investigate the intricate interactions of molecular components involved in cervical cancer therapy. The study recognizes the difficulties connected with fully addressing the complex nature of this illness. The study proposed a novel approach to treating Cervical Cancer to address the issues using the Network Pharmacology Approach (TCC-NPA). The proposed system incorporates many components, such as functional enrichment analysis, molecular docking, and survival analysis, to elucidate complex pathways and critical molecular interactions. This study reveals hub nodes, including TP53, SRC, AKT1, and other relevant factors, providing insights into their functions in cervical cancer. The research findings indicate that elevated TP53, ESR1, and AKR1C3 levels and reduced AKT1, VEGFA, JUN, and EGFR correlate with enhanced survival outcomes among individuals diagnosed with cervical cancer. Quercetin and luteolin play a significant role in the therapeutic effects exhibited by FDY003. The results highlight the potential of FDY003 and TCC-NPA as a holistic strategy for treating cervical cancer. <p>Ovarian cancer is a significant global health concern, with an approximate annual incidence of 300,000 new cases. The predominant form of ovarian cancer is high-grade serous ovarian cancer, which constitutes most cases. The standard treatment for this kind of cancer often involves the administration of platinum-based chemotherapy, a therapeutic strategy that initially yields a response rate ranging from 70% to 80%. The issue of platinum resistance, which is associated with an unfavorable prognosis, continues to be a serious worry. Therefore, accurately predicting resistance is of utmost importance in a therapeutic setting. This work acknowledges the significant importance of SULF1 polymorphisms as prospective biomarkers in anticipating platinum resistance. One of the primary obstacles in this domain has been the absence of accurate prediction models. As a response, this research presents the Pre-Treatment CT-based Radiomic Model (PT-CT-RM), an innovative methodology that integrates genetic and radiomic information to forecast platinum resistance. The findings obtained via several iterations indicate an average HRD Score of 29.83%, a Mutation Frequency of 14.42 mutations per megabase, an SNV Count of 267.85, and a TMB of 20.89 mutations per megabase. The results indicate a gradual rise in genomic instability and mutation density, which is suggestive of the underlying processes that contribute to platinum resistance. The comprehensive strategy PT-CT-RM uses shows potential in advancing patient-specific therapy options, providing a renewed sense of optimism in enhancing outcomes for individuals diagnosed with high-grade serous ovarian cancer.</p>Ravi kishore AgrawalTripti Dewangan

<p>This study aims to identify the relationship between post-COVID-19 stress, subjective well-being, and quality of life (QOL) experienced by gynic patients and factors affecting quality of life. Also, essential data was collected to formulate strategies for enhancing their quality of life (QOL) amid any future pandemic. Data were collected from January 1 to February 28, 2022. It was conducted with the consent of the subjects, and the questionnaire used in the final analysis was 170 copies. Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to analyze the correlation between stress, subjective well-being, and QOL of gynic patients. Through regression analysis, the factors affecting the QOL of gynic patients were identified. It was found that males were more stressed than females and in the group with higher age and grade level. Subjective well-being was higher in the 23-25-year-old group than in the 31-year-old group, and the proportion of the satisfied group was higher than the dissatisfied group, and the positive personality was higher than the negative personality. Quality of life was higher in the group who was satisfied with the department than in the dissatisfied group, and the positive personality group was higher than the negative personality group. Stress caused by COVID-19 was found to have a significant negative correlation with social relations, a sub-factor of QOL. Subjective well-being showed a statistically significant positive correlation with quality of life. QOL showed a positive correlation with life satisfaction and positive emotion, which are sub-factors of subjective well-being, and a negative correlation with negative emotion. As for the factors influencing the QOL, subject satisfaction, personality, and subjective well-being showed significant results. Therefore, to improve the quality of life of PG gynic patients in gynaecology, it is necessary to establish various measures to reduce stress and strengthen measures to increase subjective well-being.</p>Gye-Young ShinMi-Jin KimYoung-Soon Choi

<p>During the COVID-19 pandemic, Health Care Doctors have experienced severe psychological health consequences. The same holds true for the Maternity Care Doctors too. The pandemic has affected people on an individual, interpersonal, organizational, community, and public level. To better understand the factors that have motivated and upset Maternity Care Doctors at each of these scales, a study was conducted with 168 participants. The primary goal of this research was to identify the most significant sources of stress for Maternity Care providers during the pandemic. Results showed that fears of spreading the disease to loved ones were the primary cause of stress for Maternity Care Employees. Although they were motivated to save lives, they were frustrated with the public's ignorance. Additionally, as working hours increased, employee burnout increased and morale decreased. Recommendations are provided to help reduce stress levels for Maternity Care Doctors and benefit medical institutions, governmental bodies, and the general public.</p>Ok-hue Cho
