Cement Stabilization of Bama Ridge Soil
Abstract
This research dwelled on the results of a laboratory investigation into the effect of different compactive efforts on moisturedensity relation, durability and strength characteristics of cement-stabilized Bama ridge soil. The Bama ridge is about 10-15
cm high and it is approximately 50-100 m wide and 350 km long. The non-plastic Bama ridge soil stabilized at 7% could be deemed viable as a good base course material for lightly trafficked highway pavement.
