Ipsilateral Fractures of the Femoral Shaft and Neck: A Report of 3 Cases
Abstract
BACKGROUND: High-energy injuries are common in our environment. Ipsilateral fractures of the neck and shaft could be consequences.
BODY: The fractures could be fixed simultaneously using antenoily paced cancellous screws from the neck fracture and a nail for the shaft fracture.
CONCLUSION: Cancellous screws and interlocking k-nail combined with an antinolation device can suffice in key words a emergive economy. Fractures, neck and shaft femur, antiolation bar, high energy, cancellous screws k-nail.
