Abstract

Le présent article examine une particularité stylistique de l’incise pour une approche motivationnelle du discours cité. Il exploite un corpus extrait d’un roman d’Emmanuel Dongala pour les fins illustratives. Il l’analyse avec l’approche de la motivation. Celle-ci permet de montrer que le procédé du discours direct est motivé par la structure phrastique et par la mise en relation avec son utilisateur. Notre étude a conclu que l’incise est une particularité stylistique du discours direct dans le style d’Emmanuel Dongala, du fait qu’elle se construit sur les procédés de l’apposition, du participe présent, de la phrase complexe, du présentatif et sur les modalités interrogatives, exclamatives et injonctives.

English Abstract : This article examines a stylistic peculiarity of the incise for a motivational approach to direct speech. He uses a corpus from a novel by Emmanuel Dongala for illustrative purposes. It analyzes it with the motivation approach. This shows that the process of direct speech is motivated by the phrasal structure and the connection with its user. Our study concluded that 'incise is a stylistic peculiarity of direct discourse in Emmanuel Dongala’s style, since it is built on the processes of apposition, present participle, complex sentence, and presentative interrogative, exclamatory and injunctive modalities.
