1. Those who wish to have their articles published in the Nigeria Journal of Business Administration are hereby requested to forward them to the Editor-in-Chief at the address given at the bottom of this page.
2. Heads of Department of offering doctoral degree programmes in Business Administration or related disciplines in a recognized university may forward the abstracts of doctoral theses in respect of degree awarded by their departments for publication in the journal. Abstracts sent directly by successful doctoral candidates may also be accepted provided that they accompany them with letter of certification from their Heads of Department and their Deans of Post-graduate School.
3. Manuscripts are considered on the clear understanding that they are not being submitted to any other publishers.
4. Only articles related to Business Administration are acceptable. They may be theoretical or empirical in nature but must be scholarly and show clear evidence of contribution to knowledge. Book reviews are also acceptable.
5. Please, submit an original and two copies of all manuscripts. The length of each manuscript should be between 15-20 pages. They should be typed double-spaced on 1 A4 sized paper. In addition, include a soft copy in a diskette.
6. The first page of the manuscript should contain the following:-
(a) Title of the article, and
(b) Name(s) and relevant particulars of the author(s).
7. The second page is reserved for an abstract of not more than 100 words.
8. The text of the article should begin on page 3 below the title. Please do not put the name(s) of the author(s) on this page.
9. References should be cited in the text by author’s last name, publication year and page when necessary, e.g. (Dimowo 1974:4); for multiple authors add “et at.,” to the first author’s name once all the names have been cited earlier, e.g. (Agnonifoh et al., 1877:5). Full references at the end of the text should be listed alphabetically by author’s last name. If there are several citations by the same authors they should be listed by date of publication, e.g. (Musa, 1975, 1976, etc).
10. Copies of maps and charts should be submitted in original form suitable for reproduction in the normal quarto-size.
11. Manuscripts are evaluated according to the following criteria:
(a) Significance of contribution to the field of Business Administration (which includes Management, Finance, Accounting, Quantitative Analysis, Operations Research, Marketing and so on).
(b) Originality of material.
(c) Clarity of presentation.
(d) Relevance to the Nigerian environment.
