Unusual Radiologic Presentation in Adenocarcinonma of the Colon - A Case Report
Abstract
An unusual case of Adenocarcinoma of the splenic colon in a 39-year old male patient is presented. The patient presented essentially with change in bowel habit, while other clinical details were unclear. Although the ultrasound picture was confusing, Barium enema study was helpful in confirming that the mass was situated in the colon. This case illustrates the advantage of multiple imaging modalities, which
is often avoided particularly on account of poor financial status of patients.
