ARI SITAS tracks the significant upward trend of militarisation that South Africa, and the world at large, has seen since around the year 2000 and appeals to the Ramaphosa government to resist this hawkish trend. He warns of dire consequences that are already evident with the demise of the Mandela Dividend and its attendant themes of peacemaking and reconciliation.
