The death of KK Kenneth Kaunda: last of the giants

Abstract

Kenneth Kaunda, the first president of independent Zambia, died on 17 June 2021. He will always be remembered by the people of South Africa with a deep sense of gratitude for his unwavering support for the liberation movements and the base he provided when they were in exile.
