Setbacks and partial victories for community health workers

Abstract

Mondli Hlatshwayo is Senior Researcher at the Centre for Education Rights and Transformation, University of Johannesburg. He was awarded the 2018 Ruth First prize for an article in the Review of African Political Economy on the struggles of community health workers and specifically the organisational responses of community health workers.
