Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.
An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
Editorial policy
We propose this policy to manage the journal archiving process. We recommend our authors to read the following statement carefully before submitting the manuscripts:
1. Authorship
Our journal follows the instructions published by International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) for authorship. In this statement, we put the persons, mentioned on the manuscript as authors, as responsible to have contributed in a meaningful and identifiable way to the design, performance, analysis, and reporting of the work and to agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work
The authors should satisfy the following criteria:
Considerable contributions on the research work: adding values on the conception and design; or acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data
Drafting of the article or critical revision for important intellectual content
Final approval of the version to be published
Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the article are appropriately investigated and resolved
Before publication, each author must sign a conflict of interest COI form attesting that he or she fulfills the authorship criteria of the ICMJE Recommendations.
Only one (1) person could be a corresponding author per manuscript, who will manage all correspondence with the Editors. The Journal will indicate when two authors contribute equally to a work. In print, this reads as, “Drs. XXX and YYY contributed equally to this article.” When submitting an equally coauthored paper, authors can indicate dual first or senior authorship with an asterisk on the manuscript title page.
2. Peer Review
The editor manager select for each manuscript editors and reviewers appropriate to the concerned research area. Also authors should propose three (3) active reviewers, outside their institutions, to help in the manuscript’s revision. All accepted manuscripts should pass by one or more rounds of peer reviewing by multi expert reviewers, the acceptance follow the veto strategy. This is due to the high quality that the journal promises for the scientific audience. Adding to experts reviewing we introduce an automatic similarity check by iThenticate software for potential plagiarism, or prior publication detection. The last step of peer reviewing is established by native English editors for potential typos and grammatical errors detection.
3. Financial Associations/Conflicts of Interest
The journal acknowledges the publication of sponsorship and funding of research works. This statement should be declared and signed on the conflict of interest COI form by all authors. More information about conflict of interest is at link: COI
4. Access
All accepted manuscript will be distributed for publication in open access free of charges. The publication is only online on the website medtech.ichsmt.org and available also in other online libraries like OCLC, BASE, ..etc. The journal does not offer a submission charges, but from 2018 the journal proposes an article publication charges APC link to be contributed by the authors. The APC should be transferred to the publisher after the online apparition of the manuscript.
5. Copyrights/Permissions
Materials published by the journal are covered by copyrights. All rights are reserved by the publisher "Knowledge Kingdom Publishing". The journal allow the author(s) to hold the copyright and to retain publishing rights without restrictions.
