Econometric Study of the Impact of PSD and PCD on Economic Growth in Algeria during the Period (1980-2002)

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to try to examine the impact of public investment (expressed by communal development programs (PCD), The Sectoral development Plan (PSD).) to economic growth rates in Algeria in the short and long term. The study data included the period 1980 -2002. For this reason, the ARDL self-regression model was used. The empirical results showed that there was a long-term and short-term balance between the variables of the study and that PGDP was the main factor influencing The Sectoral development Plan in the long and short term.
