Effects of Anisotropy on the Finite Element Mesh In Analysis of Stress Distributions Around a Hole in a Bi-Axially- Loaded Glass/ Epoxy Composite
Abstract
The behaviour of a glass/ epoxy fiber-reinforched composite luminate containing a central circular hole under biaxial loading is investigated considered as an orthotopic medium and a finite element schem is developed for this class of materials.
