The Effect of Chemical and Mineralogical Constitution on the Physical Characteristics of Ceramic Triaxial Bodies
Abstract
The effect of chemical and mineralogical constitution on the physical characteristics of ceramic triaxial bodies composed from feldspar, quartz and kaolin is investigated. Results show that suitable whiteware bodies can be manufactured from the raw materials investigated. To support a meaningful interpretation of observed phenomena in processing techniques, scientific investigations have been reviewed in this paper.
