Répartition de la température dans l'enceinte d'un réfrigérateur solaire destiné à la conservation de vaccins en milieu isolé
Abstract
ABSTRACT. The main objective of this work is to determine the thermal behaviour of a solar refrigerator used for the conservation of vaccines and for the monitoring of the evolution of a load temperature during its conservation in extreme climate conditions defined by the World Health Organization, that is an external mean temperature of 43°C. We have developed a numerical analysis model based on the Navier-Stokes equations, which have been validated by an experimental work in the laboratory. This model has been used to simulate the thermal behaviour of the refrigerator in a site where the external temperature can reach 43°C. The results obtained show that the temperature drift does not exceed 2°C, which shows that the internal temperature of the refrigerator is homogeneous. The results also show that this refrigerator should be runed for 12 hours 30 minutes before it can be introduced in the cold chain. In that case it will keep the load temperature at values that are less than 8°C.
