Contribution a la connaissance du secteur artisananl dans le developpement socio-economique du Togo

Abstract

A steady economic growth, which is the basis of economic and social development, can only be achieved with the participation of the population at all levels, and of all the sectors of archives. With this aim, self-promotion development seems to be most appropriate way to give populations a sense of responsibility. This type of development can be regarded as an approach which places man in the centre of development. The approach is conducted in such a way that "none develops the other and none is developed by himself". Thus, the economic crisis which Togo is going through imposes to Government and all the economic operators the initiation of concerted actions likely to put the economy back on the track of growth and sustainable human development. In this context craft was and has still been an important sector to be promoted. Therefore the part played by this sector in the socio-economic development of the country must be well identified. This is exactly what this article is all about.
