Influence de la toiture sur les conditions de confort dans l'habitat en region tropicale humide

Abstract

In tropical region, thermic charges resulting from sunlight influence are one of the principal source of uncomfortabilty in house. Nevertheless, the building of house, adapted to climate, consists in controlling as much as possible the flow of the heat exchanged and/or stocked by the envelope of buildings and the one of habitations. Due to the hot energy noticed on the cover, the studied site, the use of the metallic cover, very often used in the region, creates uncomfortable situation in the houses when the whether I hot along the day, despite the false ceiling, generally used to stop sunlight rays. This paper is dealing with the analysis of the performances of the metallic ceilings, in regard to the nature and colour of the covering materials, the isolation of that ceiling assess their impact on the atmosphere conditions and the thermic comfort in the habitations. In the improvement of the atmosphere conditions of the habitations in the tropical region, a clear ceiling reduces heat way to false ceiling, which is well adapted to the climatic conditions.

En région tropicale, les charges thermiques dues au rayonnement solaire constituent l’une des principales sources d’inconfort dans l’habitat. Par conséquent, la conception d’un habitat adapté au climat consiste à contrôler autant que possible les flux de chaleur échangés et/ou stockés par l’enveloppe des constructions : il s’agit de gérer d’une part les échanges thermiques avec les sources naturelles et, d’autre part, l’énergie interne de l’enveloppe et des locaux. Compte tenu du fort ensoleillement sur le site étudié, l’utilisation de la toiture métallique, très courante dans la région, engendre une situation d’inconfort dans les habitations aux heures chaudes de la journée malgré le faux-plafond généralement construit pour éviter les flux rayonnés par la toiture. La présente étude analyse les performances des toitures métalliques suivant la nature et la teinte des matériaux de couverture, la ventilation du comble et l’isolation de la toiture et évalue leur impact sur les conditions d’ambiance et le niveau de confort thermique dans les locaux. Au plan de l’amélioration des conditions d’ambiance dans les locaux en région tropicale humide, une toiture légère de teinte claire ou moyenne, peu émissive en sous-face, sur un comble bien ventilé, avec un faux plafond en bois, est bien adaptée aux conditions climatiques.
