Parinaud syndrome: About a case reported at the Lome Campus University Hospital Syndrome de Parinaud : à propos d’un cas rapporte au CHU Campus de Lomé

Abstract

Parinaud syndrome corresponds to gaze paralysis which occurs in the vertical direction and shows hen the patient wishes to make a voluntary movement. We report the case of a patient who presented a midbrain lesion with Parinaud syndrome as manifestation.

Le syndrome de Parinaud correspond à une paralysie du regard qui survient dans le sens vertical et apparaît lorsque le patient souhaite effectuer un mouvement volontaire. Nous rapportons le cas d'un patient ayant présenté une lésion pontique mésencéphalique avec comme manifestation le syndrome de Parinaud.
