Abstract

Ce papier vise à travers deux prismes théoriques, notamment la théorie de la contingence et de l’adoption de la technologie d’analyser le rôle modérateur de l’innovation technologique (IT) et managériale (IM) dans la relation entre le covid19 et la performance sociale (PS) et financière (PF) des microfinances des régions Sud du Togo. Sur la base de dix-neuf (19) entretiens réalisés nous avons pu construire nos variables. Les analyses statistiques sont réalisées respectivement sur 103 et 137 acteurs de microfinances et la modélisation par équations structurelles sont utilisés pour le test des liens directs et le macro process de Hayes pour les liens de modération. Nos conclusions montrent que seule l’innovation technologique modère le lien entre le covid-19 et la performance des microfinances. Innovation sociale par essence, les microfinances sont invitées à améliorer leur modèle de gestion, à être résiliente et s’adapter à leur environnement pour faire face à cette crise et à d’autres inattendues. Le recours aux outils technologiques demeure une source de performance.

English Abstract:

This paper aims through two theoretical prisms, in particular the theory of contingency and adoption of technology to analyze the moderating role of technological (IT) and managerial (MI) innovation in the relationship between covid19 and the social (PS) and financial (PF) performance of microfinance in the southern regions of Togo. On the basis of nineteen (19) interviews carried out, we were able to construct our variables. Statistical analyzes are carried out respectively on 103 and 137 microfinance actors and structural equation modeling is used for the test of direct links and the Hayes macro process for moderation links. Our findings show that only technological innovation moderates the link between covid-19 and microfinance performance. Social innovation in essence, microfinances are invited to improve their management model, to be resilient and to adapt to their environment to face this crisis and other unexpected ones. The use of technological tools remains a source of performance.
