Writing for any beginner can be quite frustrating, especially where there are practically no materials to guide. The rarity or non-availability of teaching aids in an English Department within a francophone system prompted this piece of article. The article is intended to facilitate the task of writing for beginners. It reflects on writing as a twofold process: putting down the information first and then going back and
structuring it; a process termed “deglobalizing.”
