Abstract

Introduction : la COVID-19 constitue une pandémie. La transmission verticale de cette pathologie n’est pas clairement établie. L’objectif de cette étude était de décrire l’issue de la grossesse et de l’accouchement chez une gestante atteinte de COVID-19.
Observation : il s’est agi d’une gestante âgée de 34 ans atteinte de pneumopathie au nouveau coronavirus. L’évolution a été favorable sous chloroquine et azithromycine marquée par un accouchement à terme et par voie basse d’un enfant de poids normal et ayant un bon état clinique. La RTPCR réalisée chez l’enfant est négatif.
Conclusion : L’infection au nouveau coronavirus n’a eu aucun impact négatif sur le déroulement de la grossesse et l’accouchement. La transmission
verticale de la COVID-19 n’a pas été observée.

ABSTRACT
Introduction: COVID-19 constitutes a pandemic. The vertical transmission of this pathology is not clearly established. The objective of this study was to describe the outcome of pregnancy and childbirth in a pregnant woman with COVID-19.
Observation: This was a 34-year-old pregnant woman with novel coronavirus pneumonia. The evolution was favorable with chloroquine and azithromycin marked by a term and vaginal delivery of a child of normal weight and in good clinical condition. The RTPCR performed in children is
negative.
Conclusion: Infection with the novel coronavirus had no negative impact on the course of pregnancy and childbirth. Vertical transmission of COVID-19 has not been observed.
