Contribution a l’histoire du peuplement malinke de Boundiali (Nord de la Cote d’Ivoire)

Abstract

En recoupant références bibliographiques et sources orales, cet article montre que les Malinké, venus des régions de Ségou, Kankan ou Djenné, et plus proche, d’Odienné  et Samatiguila, se sont installés en terre Sénoufo de Boundiali aux XVIIIème et XIXème siècles. Les raisons de leur installation sont d’ordre religieux et commercial. Par leurs activités et la pratique de l’islam, ils vont influencer fortement la civilisation sénoufo, en y imprimant des patronymes mandé, en transformant l’organisation sociale des sénoufo, qui passe d’un système matrilinéaire au patrilignage, mais aussi l’utilisation du Julakan (parler des Jula) qui devient la première langue d’expression dans la région.

English Title: Contribution to the history of the malinke people of Boundiali (Northern Cote d'Ivoire)

By cross-referencing bibliographical references and oral sources, this article shows that the Malinke, coming from the regions of Ségou, Kankan or Djenné, and closer, from Odienné and Samatiguila, settled in Sénoufo land of Boundiali during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The reasons for their installation are religious and commercial. By their activities and the practice of Islam, they will strongly influence the Senufo civilization, by printing Mande surnames, transforming the social  organization of Senufo, which passes from a matrilineal system to patrilineage, but also the use of Julakan (Jula language) becomes the first language of expression in the region.
