Étude diagnostique des obstacles lies a la production du beurre de karite dans la region du Poro

Abstract

La question de la réduction de la pauvreté en Côte d’Ivoire constitue un enjeu majeur pour l’Etat ivoirien. L’enjeu est tellement important que l’Etat encourage les différentes couches sociales à travailler davantage pour faire reculer la pauvreté. C’est dans cette dynamique que se sont inscrites les femmes de Natiokobadara dans la région du Poro, à travers la production du beurre de karité. S’il est vrai que cette activité a permis à ces femmes d’améliorer les conditions de vie, force est de constater que dans le processus de production du karité, les femmes de Natiokobadara rencontrent d’énormes difficultés. C’est à cette préoccupation que répond la présente étude. En clair, l’objectif est d’analyser les obstacles liés à la production du karité à Natiokobadara. En son terme, l’étude révèle que la raréfaction des terres, les difficultés de la commercialisation ainsi que l’utilisation du matériel artisanal sont entre autres les difficultés que rencontrent les femmes de Natiokobadara.

English Title: Diagnostic study of obstacles relating to the production of shea butter in the Poro region

English Abstract

The issue of poverty reduction in Côte d'Ivoire is a major challenge for the Ivorian government. The stakes are so high that the state encourages the different social strata to work harder to reduce poverty. It is in this dynamic that the women of Natiokobadara registered in the region of Poro, through the production of shea butter. While this activity has enabled these women to improve their living conditions, it is clear that in the process of producing shea, the women of Natiokobadara face enormous difficulties. This is the concern of the present study. Clearly, the objective is to analyze the obstacles related to the production of shea in Natiokobadara. In the end, the study reveals that the scarcity of land, the difficulties of commercialization and the use of artisanal materials are among the difficulties encountered by the women of Natiokobadara.
