Le theatre d’Afrique noire francophone: un art tourne vers le developpement

Abstract

Cette étude a pour objectif de porter un regard analytique sur le théâtre d’Afrique noire francophone, depuis les années d’indépendances jusqu’à nos jours, afin de mettre en relief sa contribution au développement du continent. Il est à remarquer, en effet, que ce théâtre, dans son cheminement, est essentiellement un théâtre de combat comme en témoignent la lutte pour rétablissement culturel et celle sociopolitique qui y sont observées. Il apparaît dans nos analyses que ce combat culturel et sociopolitique ne vise prioritairement que le changement de mentalités devant conduire le peuple africain au développement. Notre démarche a donc consisté à présenter, grâce à l’histoire littéraire et à la sociocritique, ce théâtre, tout en n’oubliant pas de faire des projections sur son avenir.

English Title: The theater of black Africa francophone: an art oriented towards the development

English Abstract

The aim of this study is to give an analytical look at the theater of francophone black Africa, from independence to the present day, in order to highlight its contribution to the development of the continent. It is to be noted that this theater, in its course, is essentially a theater of fight as evidenced by the struggle for cultural recovery and that socio-political observed there. It appears in our analyzes that this cultural and socio-political struggle focuses only on the change of mentality that will lead the african people to development. Our approach consisted then, in presenting this theater, thanks to literary history and sociocritics, while not forgetting to make predictions about its future.
