Methode de Taylor dans la prise en charge de la perforation des ulceres gastroduodenaux: une etude prospective au Centre Hospitalier de Douai (France)

Abstract

Les auteurs rapportent 43 cas de péritonite par perforation d’ulcère gastrique ou duodénal dont l’évolution a été favorable sous traitement non opératoire. La méthode de Taylor est efficace si les critères de sélection des patients sont rigoureux. C’est un traitement qui doit être vulgarisé car il est simple et non agressif pour les patients.

English Title: Taylor’s Method in the management of perforated peptic ulcer: a prospective study in Douai’s Hospital (France)

English Abstract

The authors report 43 cases of perforated peptic ulcer which have known a good outcome. The non-operative treatment is efficient if the choice of the patients respects Taylor’s recommendations. This treatment must be spread because it is sample and non-aggressive for the patients.
