Peer review
Based on the subject matter of the manuscript, the chief editor of the JPL assigns it to two potential reviewers based on their the expertise, skills and knowledge. The peer review is double blind. We suggest reviewers to take not more three (3) weeks. However, the time does vary despite our best efforts. On some occasions, though rarely, the chief editor withdraws the manuscript. Authors are supplied with reviewers’ comments. The secretariat which is comprised of the Chief Editor, secretary, and two other two editorial members. The secretariat does a preliminary review of all submitted papers before they are subjected to the double-blind review. Papers of low quality are rejected and authors are advised to improve the manuscripts to the acceptable quality for peer review. Under the chief editor's guidance, the secretariat monitors the entire process to the point of acceptance for publications.
Publication Scheduling
This journal publishes two issues in one volume a year, in June and December.
