Construction Of Psm 1.8 R – S (Type – A) Roofing Sheet Machine
Abstract
A study of the fabrication of roofing tiles / sheets machine emerged as a result of the lack of facilities that can be used in the production of corrugated roofing sheet. In order to carry out this study the researcher resorted to making designs of a machine that can produce vibration, high enough to remove air spaces or vacuum in a mixture and at the same time make for effective cohesion in a mixture. In the course of the trial and error design, the researcher came up with five major components of the machine namely the vibrating table, the mobile mould carrier, the gauge, the vibrator and the mould The five components were assembled to form PSM 1.8. R –S (Type – A) Machine. The machine performed with at least ninety percent efficiency (90%).
