Improved Industrial Development In Nigeria Through Proper Technology Education

Abstract

The paper noted that most industrial development strategies in Nigeria did not give attention to technology education. And that technology education as recognized by few of the strategies were not only properly articulated for the tertiary institutions, but also poorly implemented. Therefore, to put technology and thus industrial development for self-reliance in its proper position in Nigeria, the paper advocates a review of the relevant portions of the National Policy on Education, National Policy on science and technology among other things.
